Summer Camp Season 2011
The 2011 Summer Camp Season is over, look for our Summer 2012 announcements in April 2012. Below is an example of our offering for 2011...
Below are the locations where we will be having camps this summer. All Camps will be between 3 – 4 days. All camps and clinics are
AGE SPECIFIC! Safety and fitness of the athlete is the priority with any United Speed Clinic Training! This year we will be offering the T4 National Speed, Agility, and Strength Assessment at every camp and program.
The 2011 curriculum, as always, will feature “SOCCER SPECIFIC” Speed, Agility, and Quickness in Coordination, Body Mechanics, Posture, and Body Control.
This year we will be offering our “A.C.E. Program” – (Accelerate, Control, Efficiency) as well as “AERIAL CONTROL”.
ACE – This program details the importance, mechanics, and shapes necessary for Speed Dribbling, Change of Pace (from slow to fast with controlled acceleration), and Change of Direction (180º turns with and without the ball, as well as foot moves used to accomplish this). Based on the isoccer National Assessment, WE will teach each player how to accomplish the lost art of American Soccer – “Dribbling”
AERIAL CONTROL – Being able to trap the ball out of the air on all four levels is critical for skill development, and better control in the game. We will work on using two planes of the foot, the thigh, and chest as well as teaching passing from these levels as well.
With all of our camps and programs, all players will be given biomechanical instruction. These sessions have PURPOSE and are designed to reduce wasted movement, increase acceleration and confidence on the pitch, and instill “speed, Strength, and a HEALTHY TRAINING REGIMEN for every athlete.”

T4 Speed and Agility National Assessment –
Colleges all over the country are looking for either the Nike SPARQ scores or T4 scores. In Short, these assess your straight-ahead speed on the 20 meter. They assess your agility (180º turns) in what is called the 505 test. They test your vertical leap (acceleration and lower body strength) and for U14 players and older they test your anaerobic fitness scores with what is called the yo-yo test.
United Speed Clinic is one of only six companies in NJ to administer and assess athletes with these tests through T4. The NSCAA and US Club Soccer are adapting T4 as the official Speed and Agility National Assessment course.
With each assessment comes an online score sheet and profile that you can use to rate your childs progress, their scores against those tested that day, and their scores against the National Average.
These are verified digital scores that take precedence over hand held scores with stop watches.

This “Mock Combine” is based on what the National Skill and Assessment programs are dictating through the NSCAA, U.S. Club Soccer, and many Collegiate programs. This gives each player just a “taste” of what kind of SKILL and SPEED is required on the next level.
Whether you’re interested n going to college, becoming a varsity soccer player, or getting to the next level in your soccer progression, this camp will help give you the tools necessary to complete.
Each player will walk away with a complete assessment in his or her skill sets as well as Speed, Agility and Strength.
The price is all inclusive and includes a T-shirt and T4 testing. Each player will also receive a Full i-soccer assessment and training in how to successfully compete with these scores!
iSOCCER Skills National Assessment –
Quickly becoming one of the best tools for assessing a player’s skill development, iSoccer and the National Assessment Program are being used at all levels of Soccer development. These programs are all endorsed by the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) and U.S. Club Soccer. United Speed Clinic is a member with both organizations.
Here at United Speed Clinic we have developed Soccer Specific Speed, Agility, Coordination, and Body Management curriculum to enhance the testing of these skills.
This battery of tests begins with and includes:
1) Toe taps
2) Comfort with the ball,
3) Dribbling skills with change of pace and direction
4) Aerial control
5) Juggling
6) 1
st touch development7) Creativity
8) Foot speed

It is the foundation for our Acceleration, Control, Efficiency Program, and is used alongside of our Brazilian Technical Circuits!

This program will be for Special Needs Players who want to play a little “footie” and get dirty! Held at America’s Keswick, this will be for all ages, and will be a healthy way to get the kids running, jumping and involved in “The Beautiful Game”.
This weeks staff are “VOLUNTEERS” and we will have many of our “Academy Players” participating to help each player get that special feeling and attention they deserve!
